Here I am again with Mr./Ms. N.
A 2-day, 1-night business trip to Tokyo!!
The schedule this time is simple: on the first day, we'll visit Veritecoeur's exhibition, and on the second day, Oldman's Tailor's exhibition.
I'll tell you all about how it went.
First, lunch at Tokyo Station, haha.
The other day, I was casually watching TV, and there was a special feature on gourmet food at Tokyo Station!
I watched intently, and since there was a restaurant I wanted to visit and try, we immediately headed there.
My mental preparation on the Shinkansen was perfect. (I had 4 hours...)
Surprisingly, I found it without getting lost. Preparation is important, isn't it?

Eric South.
It's a South Indian curry restaurant.
It was before 12 PM, and about 20 people were lined up, but I heard the turnover was fast (from TV information), so I waited patiently while looking at the menu.
As expected, we were seated relatively quickly, and the food was served fast too. Excellent!

This is what I had ↑
Mr./Ms. N had biryani ↓

Spiciness, sourness, sweetness, and spices.
It was a delicious curry that stimulated all five senses. I want to eat it again.
Well, now that we're full, we're heading to Aoyama, the exhibition venue for Veritecoeur, by subway.
Along the way from the station, I saw some beautiful hydrangeas.

Speaking of which, a customer told me, "When you get older, you start taking pictures of flowers." I realized it then, and it's true! I am taking pictures of them!!
I used to take a lot of pictures of clouds when I was young, but now I don't, and for some reason, it's plants....
Why is that, I wonder?

Veritecoeur this time was exhibiting in a rented gallery.
Both the exterior and interior of the building were predominantly white, making the clothes stand out beautifully.
Since I got permission, take a quick peek.

I ordered a polka dot dress, a scarf, and a cute floral Liberty print shirt!

There were many good outerwear pieces too, and I was torn.
Personally, the soft, loose wool jacket was incredibly easy to wear, like a cardigan, so I ordered one for myself as well, haha.
Also, the SHOTO shoes, a collaboration created every time, were great!
SHOTO is a shoe brand where cheerful Italian brothers handcraft shoes.
This time, as you can see in the photo below, Mr./Ms. N is checking the size and comfort of a two-tone wingtip horse leather shoe.
The sole is our beloved Vibram sole, so no complaints there.
We ordered brown and navy, so shoe lovers, look forward to autumn!

By the time we finished, we were considerably over schedule.
Actually, I secretly had ambitions of going to the Berabo Exhibition (?) at the Tokyo National Museum if we finished early... but I gave up.
I thought it would be easy since it was just one place today!
But I'm tired....
My dream of Berabo was crushed, and my life gauge is almost at 0....
Let's get some tea for now! We arrived at a cafe that was within walking distance and always seemed to be empty (according to Mr./Ms. N's insider info).

My life recovered a bit (+10), and I had enough余裕 to look around.
The ceiling was domed, and there were trees on the terrace, so it was indeed a wonderfully relaxing space.
Perhaps it was the time of day, but it wasn't crowded, making it a hidden gem.

Tonight's accommodation is in Akasaka.
If it's Akasaka, there's a Western confectionery shop I want to visit!
I lured Mr./Ms. N, and we took a slightly longer route to get there.

It's a famous shop, and I couldn't forget their rare cheesecake!
It's nice that they still have it even at a late hour.
I waited in line for a bit and took it home.
I ate it at the hotel before bed, and it was even more delicious than I remembered! I want to eat it again.
For dinner, we went to an obanzai restaurant near the hotel.

Ahhh!
Mr./Ms. N had a highball, and I chose the famous sake, Sharaku!
It really hit the spot....

All the appetizers were also spot-on.
Perhaps because it was a weekday, it wasn't crowded, and the atmosphere was extremely comfortable. I want to come again.
Feeling great on the way back, oh! I found a face-in-hole panel.

I ended the day with the biggest smile of the day.
Continued in the Oldman's Tailor edition for the second day.
