The Guernsey sweater was born as workwear for fishermen at sea.
We have expressed this traditional knit with obafer's unique sizing and ornamentation.
Originally, Guernsey sweaters are characterized by their fitted size, but we have boldly enlarged the size to create a stress-free shape.
The neck is intentionally ribbed to create a hand-knitted look, giving it the rustic charm of a home-knitted sweater. The comfortable spaciousness around the neck is also a nice touch. It's easy to wear and even has a face-slimming effect...

QUIET embroidery
The text means "quiet, please do not disturb."
The slight misspelling is also a key point.
Each stitch is hand-embroidered one by one. This is a very time-consuming process, but it results in a depth of flavor that can only be achieved by hand.

Material
Instead of the scratchy yarn typical of Guernsey sweaters, we use a soft and comfortable material. It is made from the wool of a crossbred sheep, combining springy and elastic British wool with fine and supple Australian Merino wool.
Furthermore, we use lamb's wool from lambs up to 5 months old. Lamb's wool has fine fibers, making it less scratchy and giving it a fluffy texture.
Additionally, by collecting wool with few impurities, we use raw wool that is only washed without carbonization. By not using carbonization, we minimize damage to the raw wool and preserve its natural texture.
