Ebagos' baskets are made from a durable rattan called red rattan (beni-tou).
Red rattan is such a hard and durable material that it needs to be soaked in water for 24 hours to soften it. It is said to be the most durable of the approximately 300 types of rattan.
As it is a natural product, the thickness varies.
The color of each piece also differs.
It may be entirely blackened, or tinged with orange or red, or have stain-like patterns in places.
Another characteristic is that as time passes, the skin peels off and the color changes to a beautiful tone.
Such red rattan is a material that allows you to fully appreciate the beauty created by nature.
[Bridle Leather]
Bridle leather is a strong and firm leather, continuously produced as equestrian leather.
The leather is coated with a mixture of wax and grease, so initially a white powder appears on the surface of the leather.
The way the powder appears varies depending on the season and environment, but the white powder naturally disappears with use, and a luster develops.
You can enjoy the original character of the leather and its aging process.
