ALDIN is a factory brand of a textile company located in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture. They carefully craft their products using shuttle looms, which are now a rarity.
This is a generously sized and sturdy, medium-thick torchon. It can be used as a dish towel, a dust cover, or even as an apron, reaching below the knees when tied around the waist! The brownish background is the natural color of the linen plant, and it will lighten over time. The soft, fluffy texture it develops with age is even more wonderful. It's also large enough to hold delicious treats for two during a short break.
The simple "AL"DIN emblem, the stitched edges, and the rustic woven loop are delightful! It gets cuter every time you look at it.
