These organic cotton towels were researched and developed by American entomologist, Ms. Sally Fox.
The natural brown color is undyed; it is the natural color of the cotton itself. They are woven using shuttle looms in Imabari, a renowned production center for high-quality towels in Japan.
Unlike newer machines, traditional shuttle looms weave slowly and gently, without stressing the threads. This results in a fabric that is tightly woven yet has a soft, fluffy texture.
Considering absorbency and environmental impact, no unnecessary processing is done, so you can use them immediately after purchase without washing.
Thinner than 10mm towels, they are compact and take up little space. Their generous size and quick-drying properties make them perfect for everyday use.
