This soft basket was made for the first time this season.
A fan-shaped basket woven from red rattan and soft, fluffy W-raschel sponge fabric, with a smooth leather handle crafted with expert leather techniques.
With a linen cover, it has an overall refreshing feel, but the black can be used all year round.
【Red Rattan】
Ebagos's baskets are made from a durable type of rattan called red rattan (benitou).
Red rattan is such a hard and durable material that it needs to be soaked in water for 24 hours to soften it. It is said to be the strongest among the approximately 300 types of rattan.
As it is a natural material, the thickness varies.
The color also differs for each piece.
It may be entirely darkened, or have orange or reddish tones, and sometimes have spot-like patterns in certain areas.
Another characteristic is that as time passes, the skin peels and the color changes beautifully.
Red rattan is a material where you can fully appreciate the beauty created by nature.
