Each item is hand-knitted using a domestic knitting machine. The knit fabric is double-layered, and the brim has a triple-layered structure, giving it a voluminous shape that suits many people. The lining is knitted with a cashmere-blend yarn that is soft to the touch. The main material is Shetland wool, with merino and lamb wool used in some parts.
Material The outer fabric uses wool from Shetland sheep. Shetland sheep live in environments where cold weather persists for a long period throughout the year. To withstand such harsh conditions, their wool is firm and resilient, providing excellent warmth and elasticity. It is also highly durable. The rustic texture adds a unique charm. The lining is a blend of cashmere and lamb wool. The cashmere is white cashmere from Inner Mongolia, China, and the wool is a high-quality Merino variety from Australia (Gippsland region), known for its exceptional lamb wool. It is blended with fine wool fibers to preserve the luxurious feel of cashmere.
