ALDIN is a factory brand of a textile company located in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture. They meticulously craft their products using shuttle looms, which are now a rarity.
One of ALDIN's embroidered series is the "Cherry Torsion." Cute cherries are arranged in a row on the natural flax fabric, which is characteristic of linen.
The pure flax color is complemented by simple blue and red stitching. In fact, this "Cherry Torsion" is the item that marked the beginning of their embroidered series.
Our staff use this torsion for various purposes: as a handkerchief, for wiping dishes, or as a lunch wrap.
It's a familiar and durable fabric made of 50% cotton and 50% linen. With each use and wash, the fabric tightens and shrinks in width. Both the fabric and embroidery become softer, enhancing their texture. The embroidery also takes on a more vibrant look.
