Spring Outing Outfit

The Osaka Expo is finally starting, and Golden Week is just around the corner.

It seems like there will be more opportunities to go out.

Since the rush of new arrivals from February has settled down a bit,
N and I, M, have decided to put together some outfits to introduce the items that arrived this season.
We hope you'll join us.

Both of us are 156cm tall.

First, here's an outfit with "white clothes" as the theme.

shida Frill Skipper Pullover [250103]
Honnete V-neck Jumpsuit [HO-25SS P5]

N's outfit gives off a casual outdoor sports spectating vibe.

Since an all-white look isn't very practical, she opted for a refreshing beige jumpsuit.

This Honnete jumpsuit is 100% linen, making it light and cool!

It's also long, so it's recommended for taller people.

The V-neck gives it a neat, mature look, and it's easy to pair with shida's large collar.

MUHLBAUER Cap [CS071]
YARMO  "THE UNIFORM" Canvas Tote Medium [YM-12]

Neither of these are new this year, but they're still great, even now.

They're easy to carry for a casual adult look and don't feel out of place.

The tote comes in 9 colors, so it's hard to choose, but the natural one in the photo has a slightly thicker, more substantial fabric for some reason.

chimala Denim Engineer Jacket [CS39-JT13]
suzuki takayuki Bishop Sleeve Blouse [S251-05]
TOUJOURS Classic Painter Pants [BM42HP02]
YARMO  "THE UNIFORM" Butcher Stripe [ BAG4] [ BAG5][ BAG6]

White pants usually make me worry about sheerness, but this TOUJOURS fabric is a bit thicker, so it didn't bother me. If they were mine, I'd wear them without an inner layer.

I'm wearing size 1, which is a perfect fit.

Many pants these days have elastic waists, but it's nice to have a neat, non-elastic waist occasionally.

Again, I feel a little self-conscious in all white, so I layered a denim jacket on top.

The blouse inside is thin and sheer, but it's airy and, above all, the ruffles are cute.

Subtle at the neckline, dramatic at the cuffs.

The sleeves are long, so they peek out from under a jacket, and they have elastic at the wrist, so you can push them up and they'll stay put, which is brilliant.

By the way, the tote bag is a new YARMO item, and I'm holding the L size.

The black-に近い (black-ish) navy stripe is cool and adds a nice accent, which is great.

Next up is a border theme.

LIFiLL Cottony Basque Border Shirt [F013-06]
LIFiLL Cottony Russell Skirt [LF063-06]
AMPIANA Marche Bag (L) Black
Veritecoeur Linen Knit Stole [VCK-278 ]

LIFiLL's border pattern isn't on typical T-shirt fabric; the knit-like fabric is elegant and lovely.

The neckline and around the sleeve attachments are solid, which tones down the casualness and makes it easy to wear.

N is intentionally wearing size 4.

It's quite oversized if worn normally.

Why size 4? First, because even when tucked in slightly at the front, it still covers your backside!

Furthermore, the sleeves are long, but guess what!

If you put a rubber band on it...

And pull it up tightly, it becomes a cute puff sleeve, lol.

It won't fall down, and if you have long sleeves, you'll definitely want to try this trick.

Next up is another border T-shirt that, while not a French sleeve, has a common feature: it's not a crew neck, and your innerwear won't show from the shoulder.

Veritecoeur Long Sleeve Border [VCC-496]
ayanoguchiaya Volume Frill Skirt [dress.66]
tao (タオ)Comme des Garçons Cotton Gingham Print Tote Bag [TO-K203-051]
MOONSTAR Gym Classic High Cut

The ayanoguchiaya skirt is super long, and that's what makes it cute.

I've folded the waist once, but it would probably be just right for someone around 160cm tall.

This season's fresh sky blue color is perfect for wearing around town with sneakers.

Veritecoeur has a staple strong-twisted jersey T-shirt, and I really love that fabric.

It's 100% cotton, but it stretches vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, and it's tightly woven with thin threads, so it's not too casual, feels smooth, and is incredibly comfortable to wear.

So, a border shirt made from that fabric is definitely a winner!!

Plus, it's a relaxed fit, doesn't cling to your body shape, and the sleeves are about 7/10ths length, making it very versatile.

The length is just right, not too long even when worn untucked, and I hardly notice any sheerness even with white x ivory.

The final theme is pattern.

The image I had was, for some reason, "Let's go to an art museum!" (Only this part is specific, lol)

enrica Cardigan [KNIT231]
ayanoguchiaya Art Printed Boyish Volume Pants [dress.60-P]
MARROW Fabric Ring Handle [MA-AC5108]

The pants feature a print of an ink painting newly drawn by contemporary artist Mr. Okumura.

It's art.

Cats, hands, and various other items are drawn in, so you'll never get tired of looking at it.

The pants have an inner lining, so you can feel secure.

They are very comfortable to wear, so you can spend the whole day stress-free.

enrica's nice red knit cardigan is elaborately woven with three different textures.

The material is linen and nylon.

The length is short and the width is wide, which is a good balance.

It's sheer, so it doesn't look hot, and it folds compactly, so it's convenient to have one for protection against air conditioning.

tao (タオ)Comme des Garçons Cotton Gingham Print Dress [T0-0007-051]
ANTIPAST Coated Cotton Jacket [WJ173]
noir kei ninomiya Wool Oxford × Nylon Tulle Skirt [3N-S020-051]
eb•a•gos W Russell Mini Bag [45507]
BEAUTIFUL SHOES Opera [BS2212002]

How happy I'd be if I could go to an art museum in this dress!

That's the feeling this tao dress evokes.

The artwork by Tove Jansson, which is this season's theme, is featured prominently on the front, making it a true work of art.

It's cute worn alone, but I've layered a noir tulle skirt underneath.

The back is also really cute with a ribbon. The gingham check on the back is made from a smaller gingham fabric than the front.

The ANTIPAST jacket layered on top also has just the right amount of adult cuteness, striking a good balance.

The cotton fabric is smooth and firm, making it very versatile and great for various outfits.

Thank you for staying with me this far.
