A few years ago, I visited Takamatsu in Kagawa Prefecture, Shikoku.
At a certain select shop, there was a wonderful accessory POP UP, and the glass jewelry of Sayuri Oka immediately caught my eye.
It was pop and playful, but not just cute, it was sophisticated.
I was instantly captivated.
I had been waiting for the day to encounter it again somewhere, but living in Hiroshima, I didn't have many opportunities to see it...

That's right!
If it's not available, I'll make an offer myself!
With a "nothing ventured, nothing gained" attitude, I approached Ms. Oka (old-fashioned expression), and
She actually said yes!!

And so, CREER has also started carrying her work.
This is the first time in Hiroshima.
I really want you to see it, touch it, and try it on.
And if your heart is captivated, don't hesitate to head straight to the register.
Since all parts are handmade, you'll never encounter the exact same piece again (tear).

Since it's glass, it can break or chip, they say.
However, my favorite bracelet, which I've dropped on the floor at home several times, is surprisingly durable and still looks the same.
Even if something happens, they say they'll consult about repairs, so that's reassuring.
Finally, I'd like to share the Q&A that she kindly answered despite her busy schedule.
Although I haven't met her in person yet, her sincere and kind personality shines through.
I love it!
— How many years have you been working as an artist?
This is my 26th year.
— Please tell us if there's anything that led you into this path.
When I quit university, what I wanted to do was create things.
The pottery teacher I met when I couldn't see my future and only felt anxiety was what led me into this path.
— Do you have a favorite color?
I'm surrounded by colors while creating, so I love all colors ♡
— What color are most of your clothes?
I mostly wear white or black clothes. Recently, the colors that suit me have gradually changed, so I want to challenge myself with brighter colors.
— Do you have any pets?
I don't have any pets.
— Is there anything you'd like to do in 2026? Whether it's related to your work or a hobby!
It's enough for me if I can create joyfully with good health this year too.
I hope I can do many fun things with my elementary school daughter.
— Thank you very much!
