With news constantly talking about a mild winter, many of you are probably wondering what to do about a coat this year.
Even if it's mild, winter is still winter.
It's likely to get cold enough on some days.
Should you layer thin items to get by?
Should you settle for something moderately warm?
Or should you invest in something warm for next year and the year after?
I have recommendations for everyone!
I'll introduce them in order, from lighter to heavier.
Let's start with a thin, unlined type.

Veritecoeur et ses COPAINS Coat [BAR-001]
This is a thin, lightweight nylon coat.
Being nylon, it's resistant to wind and rain, and its roomy size allows for plenty of layering underneath.
The sumi-gray is exquisite, neither too dark nor too light.
The large pockets are both practical and a key design feature.
Also from Veritecoeur is the Fishtail Parka [VC-2521]

This is a sturdy, unlined cotton coat.
The color here is sumi-black.
It's closer to black than the coat above, but not completely black, giving it a softer feel.
By tightening the drawstrings at the hem and waist, you can change the silhouette, offering versatility.
OLDMAN'S TAILOR's Shop Coat [OMT-SS563] is a casually stylish and cute coat with a subtle black watch pattern.

With a simple, timeless design and lightweight cotton material.
It has a crisp feel, making it a sophisticated adult coat that isn't too casual.
This item arrived in spring, and it's currently a bit of a bargain, making it even more recommended.
From here on, for lack of a better phrase, these are moderately easy-to-wear coats.
They are lined coats, neither too thin nor too thick, that I can recommend to everyone.
Since there are many, I'll go through them quickly!
First, OLDMAN'S TAILOR's Mountain Parka [m962a34]

You might be thinking, "Wait, is this a coat?"
There are shorter coats in the world, so please let me introduce it here!
OLDMAN'S TAILOR is for men, but size 34 is smaller than S, roughly equivalent to a women's M to L.
It's especially recommended for women.
It features a sturdy, crisp cotton-nylon fabric with a brushed red tartan check lining.
It's especially recommended for outdoor enthusiasts or cyclists.
Of course, it's also suitable for city wear, so feel free to throw it on whenever you like.
Speaking of checks, there's Honnete's New Round Collar Coat [HO-23AW CO11]

The brown-toned glen check with a pop of red is lovely.
The large collar and deep back slit are nice.
The sleeves are also roomy, so thick knitwear is fine.
Speaking of slits, there's TOUJOURS's Beaver Finish Pure Cashmere Side Seam Vent Coat [AM39QC01] with side slits.

Above all, it's 100% cashmere with a subtle nap!
Of course, everyone wants one, but the price isn't so lovely...
Soft and smooth to the touch, with a luxurious navy color.
This is a supreme coat that you can use for a long time.
Also a masterpiece, TOWAVASE's Permanent Towavase Robe (Silk) [26-0031A]

I really want you to wear it casually for everyday use.
In fact, just throwing it on over your everyday clothes will give you a sophisticated adult look.
It's a truly wonderful coat that has been continuously produced.
This one, too, has lovely embroidery, ANTIPAST's Embroidery Coat [EC184]

Like TOWAVASE, it's incredibly light!
It's reversible, so the reverse side is also well-made.
While oversized fits are common these days, this coat has a just-right balance—not too big, yet not too compact—making it a coat you can use for a long time.
Let's keep going.
Next is noir kei ninomiya's Wool Cashmere Melton Coat [3J-C008-051]

Even though it's not made to be narrow, it looks sleek, slender, and cool!
... "I want it!" was what both the staff who wore it and the staff who took the photos said about this coat.
While not overly designed, this melton coat features zipper detailing that embodies noir kei ninomiya's characteristic style.
This one isn't from the current season, so it's a great deal. Recommended.
suzuki takayuki's Tailored Collar Coat [A241-23] has a similar fabric feel.

The wide open tailored collar is a key feature.
This opening gives a sense of relaxation and lightness to those who see it.
The wearer themselves feels comfortably warm, as if wearing a substantial coat.
For those who want a bit more lightness, there's Veritecoeur's Coat [ST-125]

The length is also a bit shorter, giving it a lively feel.
This one is also tailored, but with a more relaxed fit than the suzuki takayuki.
With its simple design, it seems easy to wear casually every day.
Now, for those who absolutely can't stand the cold!
I'd like to conclude with these highly insulating coats.
First up is R&D.M.Co-'s popular Quilted Long Coat [5956]

This is a classic masterpiece that has been continuously produced.
The outer fabric is cotton, and it's filled with batting.
Its length provides a wrapped, warm feeling.
By the way, we plan to stock a new ivory color this year.
There is also a Quilted Long Coat [5841] with a polyester outer fabric.

You can't tell from this photo, but the lining is a brushed tartan check, which is warm and cute!
Please check out the product page from the link.
Speaking of quilting, there's YARMO's Quilted Lab Coat [CO16]

Being an overseas brand, it's quite roomy.
However, the quilting is on the inside, not the outside, so it has a clean silhouette.
This year's colors are a raw natural color, an indigo like sax blue, and the bright grey shown in the photo.
tao's Faux Shearling Coat [TJ-C011-051] is also warm!

This one is also at a great price, and it's truly adorable.
The entire inside is soft white fur, making it cozy and pleasant to the touch.
It pairs well with dresses or casual denim.
Finally, the last one, TOUJOURS's Polo Coat [TM37TC01]

Definitely warm! And cute!
This coat, with its generous vanilla-colored fur, will make both the wearer and those looking at it happy.
It's a truly special piece.
Thank you for sticking with me this far.
It's just a coat, yet it's more than just a coat.
I hope you can find the perfect coat for yourself.
