Don't you want a cut-and-sew top that you can wear under a knit or sweatshirt, and that you won't be embarrassed to take off your outerwear in?
Many people opt for U*n*qlo for their cut-and-sew tops, but we have something to recommend for those who don't!
That is...!
It's gicipi, to be exact.
An Italian factory brand, it's popular with repeat customers for its compact sizing that suits Japanese figures, its comfortable, natural-material fabrics, and its relatively affordable prices (compared to our own, haha).
Please bear with us as we introduce the new autumn/winter collection in bulk.

You might be wondering why there's no explanation, but there's a reason for lining up these three items without further comment.
They are all made from the same fabric.
It's a soft, stretchy cotton that looks small at first glance, but it fits, laugh out loud.

If you're looking for an inner layer that you won't be embarrassed to take off, this is it. I think the design is a matter of personal preference.
The boat neck of the Cabolfiore is a bit of a concern around the neck, but it doesn't show anything even when you lean forward, and it doesn't feel tight, so it's neat and tidy.
It's also great under a knit!

These are also different designs made from the same fabric.
It's said to be gicipi's thickest fabric, with a texture somewhere between a T-shirt and a sweatshirt.
It's loose-fitting with wide armholes, so it's super easy to wear on its own and isn't see-through at all!

The Pera (turtleneck) has a shorter length.
It's recommended for those who aren't very tall, and it creates a cute balance when worn with a skirt.

Since this is the only one where I could barely share a picture of me wearing it, I tried it on.
It feels neat yet has a loose fit around the body, making it incredibly comfortable to wear!
Above all, the soft feel.
It's not as casual as a sweatshirt. It's more sophisticated.
But it's comfortable. It's the best.
While I'm at it, I'll try on the Cipolla (mock neck) too.

The sleeve length and overall length became longer.
But this is good too! Really good!!
When pulled up, it stops nicely around the waist, and when extended, it covers up to the hips.
I am 156cm tall, but for those taller than me, this is recommended.
Since it can be layered both under and over, I wear it three times a week. Personally, this is my top pick for this time!

Turtleneck Shirt (Ananas) [ 2413A]
A classic 100% cotton turtleneck.
The neck, cuffs, and waist are ribbed for a comfortable fit. It's snug enough to be worn as an inner layer, but it doesn't cling to the body too much, so it's fine to wear on its own. (However, if you're used to recent loose-fitting styles, you might want to throw something on top.)

Smooth and stretchy, comfortable fabric.
The fit around the neck is just right—it doesn't shift but isn't constricting!
This is the first piece I'd recommend to gicipi beginners.

Turtleneck Knit Sew (Prunia) [2321A] [ 2421A]
This is also a classic, a ribbed cut-and-sew turtleneck.
The material is wool silk.
It has the warmth of wool, but the silk finish prevents it from feeling scratchy.
Among those introduced this time, it's the tightest, but most people will be fine as it stretches a lot!

It's form-fitting, so it might be a bit challenging to wear on its own, but it's neat and doesn't interfere with anything you layer over it. That's why many people buy it in different colors if they like it.
Some people might find the neck uncomfortable, so it's not for everyone, but the neck part stands up nicely and doesn't get stretched out.
It's also recommended under a jacket, giving you a neat and elegant look.
With that said, please check out our recommended gicipi items.
