I'm so glad I got up early!!
Did you watch the snowboard halfpipe? It was so moving!!
I was moved to tears by the immeasurable effort of athletes who throw themselves wholeheartedly into their sport.
One of the great things about the Olympics is that you get to watch sports like cross-country skiing and moguls that you don't usually see on TV.
I could watch the Winter Olympics forever...
That said, the sunlight has started to feel a little like spring, hasn't it?
Spring is almost here.
Spring items are arriving at CREER every day, too.
Switching into work mode, I'll introduce, in no particular order, items that caught my personal attention, little bits of news, event information and more!
tao Yarn-Dyed Wool Toro Chintz-Finish Pants [TQ-P005-051] ¥121,000
You don't often find balloon pants with this much gathered fabric, do you?
There is so much gathering that they're almost a skirt!
And yet they're pants. Perfect.
It's summer-weight wool, so it's highly versatile.
The cotton lining feels comfortable against the skin, and the freedom of movement is so good that you could probably ride a bicycle in them.
The length isn't very long, so I recommend them for people of average to shorter height.
I want them... the only problem is the price (tears)
tao Polyester Weather Print Garment-Dyed Skirt Fumi Imamura [TQ-S005-051] ¥82,500
All of tao's skirts arriving in the first February delivery are great, but the collaboration textile with Fumi Imamura, a focus of this season, is really special!
She is famous for her works with flower motifs, and this is not just a floral skirt, it's art!
On top of that, tao's polka dots plus subtle ruffles are irresistible.
The fabric is thin polyester with a strong crispness.
It is single-layered, but the sheerness isn't a concern at all.
When you wear it, it's so light it feels as though you're not wearing anything, to the point of being worrying, lol
This one looks like it can be enjoyed for a long season, too! I want it.
Veritecoeur Peach Skin Cargo Pants [VC-2824] ¥30,800
No, I know that CREER customers don't really ask for cargo pants so much...
But!
I saw someone from another shop trying them on at the exhibition, and they looked so, so cool, with a relaxed, beautiful silhouette, that I couldn't forget it.
They're cotton nylon with a slightly brushed surface. The matte texture is also high quality.
The rise is deep, and the plump silhouette at the back is cute. They also cover up your figure.
Only the back of the waist is elasticated, so they look clean from the front, which is a big plus.
Of course, they look usable all year round. Hmm, I want them.
Oh, by the way, the sweatshirt worn on top is the R&D.M.Co- sweatshirt.
It's a lightweight, brushed-back sweatshirt that is not long in length (for RD) and has a wide cut. In other words, easy to wear.
The story of the vacuum cleaner baby character that accidentally sucked up its owner's precious ring is cute, too.
I can't wait for the arrival of the graffiti textile items that feature this vacuum cleaner character as well!

Veritecoeur Linen Check Skipper Dress [VC-2810] ¥41,800
Since we're on the subject of Veritecoeur, first please take a look at this checked dress.
It is 100% linen.
For original linen fabric, this price almost feels cheap.
Anyway, the price of linen has gone up (tears)
It's a dress you can wear for a long time, from spring through autumn.
What's layered on top is ALWEL's track jacket.
The autumn bomber jacket was also very well received, but ALWEL's outerwear is good every time.
It leans sporty, but it's not hardcore and has a modern feel as well.
And it's sturdy and long-lasting, easy to wear from on to off duty, and truly handy.

ALWEL Long Tucked Skirt [TW-3] ¥30,800
Let me continue.
This skirt is my personal top pick.
It's also ALWEL, and it was almost love at first sight at last year's exhibition!
It has plenty of tucks and a balloon-like design with the hem tucked inward; it's long but doesn't look heavy.
The material is almost entirely nylon, so it looks resistant to rain.
It's extremely light, and although this light gray is a whitish color, the sheerness is hardly a concern!

I plan to wear it from spring through autumn, lol

By the way, the top I'm wearing is the noir T-shirt.
It's also sturdy and looks neat, which is nice, but somehow the price is a bit high...
The reason is (probably) this ↓
From the front, it's a 3D, three-dimensional star, and this is how it looks from the back.
They cut out a star shape and then attach separately sewn three-dimensional stars! Three of them!
I don't think this can be done by machine, so of course it takes time and effort...
When it comes to RD, it's the Wild Berry series.
R&D.M.Co- Wild Berry Field Lawn Oversized Shirt [7878] ¥42,900
This season's colorful palette feels super fresh.
The elastic-waist pants in a different fabric are also very easy to use and recommended, but this thin cotton lawn shirt is great too.
It's oversized and comfortable to wear, yet it doesn't flare out or look bulky.
Lots of colors included = goes well with lots of different colors.
So it looks cute with a slightly bold red as well.
There's a clear-colored True and a muted-colored Sepia, and the photo shows Sepia.
The two of us, who don't know much about it, murmured that it might suit people with a warm (yellow-base) skin tone.
It's cute on its own, but I think it would shine most if worn like a scarf, tucked between a jacket and the inner layer.
R&D.M.Co- Tote Bag [7709] ¥13,200
The linen tote bag is popular every time and never stays in stock.
It has a cotton lining, so it isn't flimsy and can be worn over the shoulder, which makes it a good bag.
The letters change every time, and this time it's probably the first one with three lines!
It has lots of letters but the price hasn't changed, so it feels like a bargain, lol
At a glance I thought it said DON'T WORRY, but it's actually DONUT WORRY.
Sweet-tooths will love this.
The apron in the same series is cute too and I wanted to introduce it, but while I was dawdling it sold out...
The cloth is cute as well, so please check it out.
By the way, the lettering for six months from now has already been decided: GOOD MORNING in black letters, and JAM & BISCUITS in red letters.
They say hands can't hide your age, and the area around the nails bothers me in various ways, but it tends to get put off.
NAILMATIC is a French brand.
We've carried it for about three years now, but I've hardly introduced it until now... my bad.
This care oil is light, yet moisturizing, and excellent.
It has a soft citrus scent, so you can do your care in a good mood.
By the way, the nail polish is also really good.
The glitter types in particular.
They aren't too flashy, but have a refined shine that adorns mature hands, so many customers in the store buy more in different colors.
A customer who came in just a moment ago was delighted too: she has weak nails that turn white when she removes nail polish, but with NAILMATIC polish that didn't happen!
The brand itself is committed to natural ingredients and cares about the environment, which is also reassuring.

From March next month, we will raise prices on ALDIN items, popular for their linen cloths and aprons.
Increases range from a few hundred yen to nearly 1,000 yen for items such as aprons....
If there is something you've already decided to buy next, it may be better to do so this month.
