BUNON 2026AW COLLECTION

BUNON's autumn/winter has begun.

Looking back, I haven't properly introduced BUNON.

That's because items disappear so quickly that I can't introduce them in time!!

This time, for sure!

I'd like to introduce them in a hurry.

BUNON gets more attention with every collection.

CREER has carried it since the brand started in 2019, and arrivals have been growing little by little.

The designer is Manami Asano, a lovely woman.

Dolls made by a doll artist from BUNON fabric.

They may somehow resemble the designer, Ms. Asano, and her husband, the director, Mr. Yoshida! (In person, both of them give an even softer, gentler impression.)

BUNON's greatest feature is that the design is by Ms. Asano with a Japanese sensibility, while production is in India, all by hand.

The silk used is fabric whose yarn is twisted by women and woven on looms by men.

Silk fabric with its natural texture left as is lacks the uniformity of machine-made cloth, but it is warm and luxurious.

The staple made from that silk is the Hem Tuck series.

Tuck Ruffle Collar [BN2303]

This is the collar BUNON is known for.

Many people probably discovered BUNON through this collar.

Light and elegant, with tucks that aren't too sweet, simply layering this collar over a T-shirt completely changes the mood.

A masterpiece.

This time, Madder Brown and Blue Mirage (the color in the photo) are new colors.

Hem Tuck Pants [BN2352]

One of the good things about BUNON is that the pants are easy and comfortable to wear.

They're white, but have a cotton lining, so you can wear them on their own with confidence.

These pants look sleek, but the hips are generously wide, so they're very easy to move in!

The movement of the hem tucks is beautiful, and they look lovely on their own or layered under a skirt or dress.

Gathered Tuck Skirt [BN2302]

The pants are double-layered, but the skirt is single-layered.

To wear it on its own you need petti pants or a petticoat, but layered over a dress it's not bulky and handy.

Behold these fine hand-made tucks!

Starting from making the yarn, I can't even imagine how much time and effort it takes...

Wide Belt Pants [BN5002]

Another staple pair of pants, in the new color Madder Brown.

I'd thought the sample I saw at the exhibition was redder and darker, but when it arrived it was a soft, gentle, lovely brown.

Perhaps that's the work of nature.

These pants are lined too, of course.

Please look at this side.

The covered buttons, and of course the small round ones (what are they called?), are each done by hand!

I definitely wouldn't want to do it, LOL.

Below the three covered buttons there's a short zip, a thoughtful touch for putting them on and taking them off.

Only the back has elastic, so the front is sleek and the back is easy to wear.

Double Frill Cape [BN2668]

Wear it on its own or throw it on.

It's cute layered under a jacket or something else as well.

It looks like an ordinary blouse at first glance, but the same thin cotton fabric is actually double-layered throughout.

Only the frills are single-layered, but because the whole piece is doubled, it's warmer than it looks.

It's soft and very comfortable to wear.

Incidentally, this cotton is also khadi cotton spun from yarn.

Flower Blouse [BN2653]

This blouse is also full of BUNON's character.

First, please take a look at the photos.

Khadi silk fabric, tucked cuffs, a sailor collar with a ribbon and tassels.

And what's more!

The flowers of the same fabric are applied like a pattern, but it's all by hand!

The flowers are cut by hand, and the French knots that fasten them are done by hand!

I definitely wouldn't want to do that!! (and couldn't)

A luxurious blouse. And cute to boot.

The last one I'll introduce is also silk.

Flower Tunic [BN2665]

A special tunic and pants made of silk fabric layered with silk organdy.

By the way, the top paired with the pants below is Shida's Puff Sleeve Cardigan [250203].

In fact, Shida's designer is also Manami Asano, the same as BUNON.

In other words, it goes extremely well with BUNON, so please check them out together.

Flower Layered Pants [BN2666]

I thought the earlier ones took quite a lot of work, but this takes the most time of all, No. 1!!
(The designer said so herself, so it must be true.)

Look at this.

Small hand-cut flowers with bead embroidery...

How many are there....

What's more, if you look closely, the flower fabric isn't a single layer; two pieces of different sizes have to be layered!

And then three beads at the center.

All I can say is I'm grateful. It's precious.

How happy to be able to wear clothes like this.

That's the utterly wonderful BUNON.

The name means weaving in Bengali, from India.

More will keep arriving, mainly in wool, so I'd be glad if you'd look closely at the details.
