Hello.
Today, as someone who loves clothes, I'd like to share three things I do to smartly get through rainy days.
Please remember that I'm a clothes lover and in my 20s.
There may be some differences depending on the person, but I hope this can be of some help.
I've also introduced it on YouTube, so please check that out too!
① I own a folding umbrella instead of a long umbrella.
If you love clothes, you probably don't want to get them wet... So you might think a long umbrella would be better. I'm sure there are people who think that.
That's right. For most people, it's natural to use a long umbrella when it rains.
I used to be like that too.
However, after I started using public transportation for my commute, I noticed something.
Commuting hours are surprisingly crowded, even in this day and age.
In such a situation, carrying a wet long umbrella on a rainy day can be a nuisance and a bother to others.
Personally, when someone else's wet umbrella brushes against my clothes... I'm not happy.
Because it's a public place, thoughtfulness is important.
I'm not criticizing long umbrellas, so please understand that!
However, I never thought the day would come when I would rely so much on folding umbrellas, so I'm currently using a Seven-Eleven folding umbrella...!
Up until now, I hadn't given the Seven-Eleven umbrella a second thought, but after becoming an apparel salesperson and starting to buy items with moreこだわり (こだわり: a strong commitment to excellence), I realized, "This isn't going to cut it."
I'm not saying anything bad about the Seven-Eleven folding umbrella. In fact, its compact size and ample coverage make it very convenient.
But still, I feel that items crafted with dedication by artisans have a unique aura, and I find myself wanting such things.
The umbrella I most want right now is a FOX UMBRELLAS folding umbrella.

This umbrella is recommended for both fashion lovers and those who are not!
Just holding it makes a statement...!
And rightly so, because it has been handmade since the brand's inception!
Even with an all-black coordination, navy gives it a presence.

This is the size of the umbrella when opened.
Some men might think it's a bit small...

Black and amber, this color scheme... Comme des Garçons! I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking that.
The red is also vibrant and feminine. It's also recommended as a parasol! I think women who own such elaborate items are truly wonderful.
For those who still prefer a long umbrella, I recommend this one.
It's large, and the slenderness when folded is irresistible!

② Keep handkerchiefs and socks in a plastic bag.
I think everyone does this.
Handkerchiefs are especially essential items.
As for socks, I found my favorite pair... so please let me introduce them!
Until now, Uniqlo black socks were my only choice.
However, after joining CREER and encountering organic garden's garabo socks, they became my only choice!

ORGANIC GARDEN Gabalo Mid-Socks

The comfort is superb...!
Please try a pair, I promise you won't regret it!
It's especially recommended for those who often wear leather shoes!
③ Dress in your own style!!
This is a point I absolutely won't compromise on.
I often see YouTube videos these days about rainy day commute outfits, but my outfits are no different from usual.
Sorry if that sounds boring...
However, wearing a raincoat or rain boots isn't really "me," so I don't have a special outfit for rainy days.
"Always stay true to yourself, no matter what." This will never change.
I'm happiest when I'm dressed in clothes I love, so even on rainy days, I'm generally in a happy mood.
Of course, when I see someone who sticks to a "this is what I wear on rainy days!" style, I think that's cool too.
Ultimately, I think anyone with individuality who sticks to it is cool.
Sorry, I got off topic, but that was my introduction to how I smartly get through rainy days!
Thank you to everyone who read to the end!
