(1) Commitment to Fabric
About the four types of fabrics that have arrived this time
①A-100
This fabric is used for the very popular standard shirt.
It's been about 2 years since I bought the standard shirt myself, but it hasn't stretched or pilled at all.
In fact, the more you wash it, the more it develops a silky smooth texture.
The reason is that the 100-count fine yarn is processed to resist pilling, so it won't deteriorate even after many years of use.
Enjoy the wrinkled texture without ironing!

②A-3
This is masnou design's standard fabric, used this time only for khaki pants.
It is made referencing military deadstock, characterized by its crispness and sheen.
Repeated washing makes the fabric softer.

③W-40, 40WD
This fabric is repeatedly washed after completion and again after being made into a product, giving it a characteristic dry, worn-in texture.
Using fine yarns and tightly woven, it transforms into a soft, airy fabric with repeated washing.

(2) Commitment to Color Tones
The characteristic color of this season's items is "khaki."
This deep, very subtle khaki color is so cool.
The khaki products are garment-dyed.
To achieve this khaki color, the designer apparently repeated trials many, many times until he got close to his ideal khaki.
Once you learn about the designer's craftsmanship, you'll desperately want the khaki items!

(3) Super warm! What is doble?
This season, we're also focusing on "doble"!
Doble is a double-layered fabric, with two layers, face and lining, joined together.
Heat accumulates between these two layers of fabric, making it incredibly warm to wear despite being cotton.
The fabric itself is also densely woven, so it blocks the wind.
As you can see in the photo above, the fabric is two-layered.
According to the designer, the patterns are drawn so that the inner fabric is visible from the outside, making it clear that it's a two-layered design.
The attention to detail is truly wonderful!
(4) Ease of Daily Use
This is one of masnou design's characteristics, not limited to this season.
For example, the doble fabric, despite being cotton, offers warmth comparable to wool.
While wool items typically require dry cleaning,
since it's a cotton fabric, you can wash it at home!
Furthermore, you can enjoy the aged appearance as it washes!
(5) Commitment to Sizing
Masnou design's clothes are generally made in oversized fits.
However, simply making something oversized can lead to a baggy feel and restrict movement, but masnou design is different.
The designer apparently creates patterns and makes clothes with the idea that even oversized garments can look stylish and be comfortable for everyday wear.
For me personally, size 1 in masnou design clothes is my just-fit size, and size 2 is a slightly larger fit.
However, even when wearing size 2 clothes, there's no bagginess; instead, wearing them loosely allows for a relaxed fit without any feeling of constriction.
Even a female staff member looked stylish wearing a size 2 coat!
To design clothes with such intentions, designers and those who make clothes are truly amazing!
