UV Protection While Staying Stylish! Sun Protection Items Recommended for Summer

Dog days are upon us, and summer is just around the corner.
And with summer comes the nuisance of UV rays.
Many women, in particular, are likely concerned about them, aren't they?

I hate UV rays! I don't want to get a tan!
I introduced my favorite sunscreens and parasols on YouTube, so please take a look if you'd like.
I dislike having my fashion choices limited by worrying about sunburn,
so the video focuses on how to wear sleeveless tops or half-pants and other favorite clothes without getting sunburned.

While taking these UV precautions, I will also introduce recommended sun protection items from Clee on this blog!

A cardigan that can be lightly thrown on is quite useful in summer.
Of course, I'm not talking about wool cardigans; the one I want to recommend this time is this cardigan.
It's made of 100% linen, a refreshing material with a beautiful sheer quality.
Even when worn over a sleeveless top or tank top, it looks cool and not at all stuffy.
In addition to sun protection, thin cardigans like this are perfect for summer because air conditioning can sometimes be too strong on trains, buses, in cafes, or movie theaters, making it unexpectedly cold.

At first glance, it might look like an ordinary T-shirt, but this is a highly functional T-shirt made from high-tech material.
The material specializes in heat shielding, contact cooling, UV cut, water absorption and quick-drying, and lightness.
Since functional yarns are woven into it, its properties last semi-permanently.
Although it's a short-sleeved shirt and exposes skin, it protects your arms and shoulders from UV rays.
It feels crisp and comfortable, so if you're choosing based on functionality, this T-shirt is definitely recommended.

Is it true that you can get sunburned through your eyes?
I don't know if it's true, but UV rays are certainly not gentle on the eyes, so I think sunglasses or glasses would be even better.
The sunlight is also strong and glaring, so they're good for that purpose too!
These are the BuddyOptical glasses and sunglasses that I introduced on YouTube.
The sunglasses use polarized lenses that reduce reflection and glare even if the lens color is light.
The clear lenses are also excellent, equipped with "SPF50+ PA+++" function that suppresses light reflection and cuts UV rays, reducing glare.
Even clear lenses offer high performance comparable to sunglasses! It's not just about the design.

Parasols are good, but for those who find them bothersome or dislike them because they're not cute, I recommend hats.
There are many hats, but this time I want to introduce BERRETTA's straw hat.
It's very light, easy to wear, and has a familiar design.
What's particularly distinctive is the elastic cord!
Instead of hooking it under your chin like a kindergarten child, hooking it at the nape of your neck makes it unnoticeable and less likely to blow away in the wind.
Wearing a hat blocks sunlight from your face and is also effective in preventing heatstroke, I think.
For those who ride bicycles and can't use a parasol, how about this hat that won't easily blow away in the wind?
*Please note, however, that it may still fly off in strong winds.
