What do our male staff members who sweat a lot use to combat sweat, odor, and UV rays?

Hello everyone.
This is Kami-Oda.

Today, I'd like to talk about the measures I take for sweat, odor, and UV rays, as someone who sweats enough to rank high in the world's metabolic rate rankings.

Sweat can cause stains on clothes and lead to odors.
And the stickiness is really unpleasant...
My biggest fear is the bus I take for commuting becoming filled with the smell of sweat...
However, recently, by just being mindful of certain things, I've started being told, "You still smell good!" even after I come home.
There may be individual differences, but please try it as a reference.

⑴ Carry a handkerchief to wipe away sweat!!
I think many of you might think one handkerchief is enough. However, isn't it unhygienic to wipe your hands after going to the restroom with a handkerchief, then wipe your face with that same handkerchief, and then wipe your hands again with the sweaty handkerchief?
That can be a cause of odor, and you wouldn't want your bag, where you keep your handkerchief, to start smelling bad either, would you?

I don't want that! So I carry two handkerchiefs. For wiping sweat, I carry a handkerchief made of pile fabric, often used for towels, or waffle fabric.

Pile fabric is often used for towels, so in addition to its absorbency, it also has the characteristic of being gentle on the skin when wiping sweat from your face.

ALDIN's Waffle Hand Towel

Waffle fabric, like pile fabric, is excellent in absorbency, and is also gentle on the skin, to the extent that it's used in baby products.

This method is recommended for both men and women!!

⑵ Prevent sweat odor before it starts!!
This overlaps with the method introduced in ⑴, but since sweating is unavoidable, I try to prevent odor from occurring.

There are ways to refresh yourself by wiping away sweat with deodorant sheets or sprays, but I don't do that....
For those who wanted to know what I use, I apologize.
However, I have a littleこだわり (preference/particularity) about this...

Since I usually wear perfume, if the smell of perfume and deodorant sheets mix, it creates a strange odor.
There are unscented types, but...
Above all, "producing trash" is what I dislike the most.
I don't like keeping trash in my bag until I get home.

The solution is simple. I take a bath to thoroughly wash off sweat, eat properly, and get enough sleep – I do the obvious things.
I believe these basics are important!
This is my personal opinion, so please let me know if you have any recommended methods!

⑶ UV protection with style
UV protection is important.
After all, the sun has been so strong lately that my skin hurts if I don't do anything...
The era of "it's okay for men not to care" is over!
Taking care of your skin is the same as taking care of your appearance.
Considering the future, UV protection is extremely important.
So, first, I will introduce the sunscreen I use.

I use Shiseido's sunscreen.
What's good about it is that it's a stick type!

Cream types are a hassle because you have to wash your hands after applying them.
I thought the best thing about the stick type is that you don't have to wash your hands.

Plus, it looks cool, so holding it cheers me up!
This is really recommended!

Next, I'll introduce some fashion items that I usually wear that naturally provide UV protection.

SCHA Seagrass Hat

Hats are one form of UV protection.
However, I wear it not for UV protection, but just because I want to...

Another item is glasses.
The reason I wear glasses, in addition to having bad eyesight, is that buying contact lenses every month meant I couldn't buy clothes, so I switched to glasses.
That's what a clothes lover is like (lol)
Furthermore, I think many people have a negative image when they hear "glasses."
One of the reasons I decided to wear stylish glasses was to dispel that image.

So, what about UV protection? It's the "lenses."
Coincidentally, when making the lenses, there was an option for "UV cut lenses," and by getting them, they provide UV protection.
UV rays seem to have a significant impact on the eyes.
Why don't you all also pay attention to your lenses?
If you don't like glasses, sunglasses are a good option.

I've talked about various things, but the most important thing for me is not to change my clothes for sweat control. It's important to wear the clothes you want to wear.
I absolutely don't want to avoid wearing my favorite clothes just because I sweat, so I'm coming up with all sorts of ways to wear the clothes I love!

I don't know if this was helpful, but this is how I get through the hot summer!

Please tell me about your sweat, odor, and UV protection measures!
